I’ve put a lot of hard work into these costumes and I love them all, but it’s time to make some room for future projects! Please consider giving them a new home!
30 Days of Cosplay: Day 23
Your most expensive cosplay
Sometimes it’s better not to think about the cost of cosplay (it adds up quickly!) My most recent costume, Fantasia Gown Juvia, was rather expensive though since it required a massive amount of satin.
30 Days of Cosplay: Day 13
Your cosplay specialty
I always seem to navigate towards blue haired characters. What can I say, blue’s my favorite color. And while I do my best to match fabric choices for costumes to the characters, if there’s an opportunity to use suede, I will. I also do a lot of custom dying, especially when I want to make something out of a knit material where the color selection is limited. I have a ton of white cotton knit fabric lying around for whenever I need it. After all, having a little stretch to your fabric can make life so much easier.
30 Days of Cosplay: Day 3
Your most recent cosplay
My most recent costume was Juvia Loxar from Fairy Tail in her Fantasia Parade ballgown. This has been a dream costume of mine since I first saw it in the manga and I’m so glad I finally got around to making it. This was also the first ballgown I’ve ever made, so not only did I get to dress up as one of my favorite anime characters, I also learned a lot of new skills. There’s a couple things I would change, but considering I only spent a couple weeks making it, I’m happy with how it turned out.
